29th Annual Urban Forestry & Horticulture Conference

The City of Florence Tree Commission and the Florence Beautification Board will host the 29th Annual Urban Forestry and Horticulture Conference 2026. Themed, "Roots of Resilience: Creating Livable Communities through Healthy Landscapes.", the conference will be held at Cross Point Church of Christ, 1350 Cox Creek Parkway, on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 8:45 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Expert guest speakers from across the Southeast will cover a variety of topics including those related to how quality of life and biodiversity in our communities is impacted by healthy urban forests and native plant landscapes.

Lunch and snacks for registered attendees are included in the admission cost. Lunch is provided by Cafe 222, Florence at noon. The event also features local-vendor displays and two drawings for door prizes.

Additionally, the Florence Tree Commission will offer a Pesticide Recertification Class on Thursday, March 5, for industry professionals, also at Cross Point Church of Christ, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided for registered attendees.

Late registration for both events will start at 8:00 a.m on the day of each event at the church.
