2026 Pesticide Recertification Class

This is an all-day class for industry professionals in pesticide use recertification.

International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) CEUs (number TBD) and also Board of Registration for Foresters forestry CEUs (number TBD) will be awarded for all-day attendees.

Admission for the class is $50.00 which includes snacks and lunch. Late registration, day-of is $55.00

This class is hosted by the City of Florence Tree Commission.

***Pesticide Recertification Class attendees may also receive additional CEUs the next day at the 29th Annual Urban Forestry and Horticulture Conference.

***The City of Florence Tree Commission and the Florence Beautification Board will host the 29th Annual Urban Forestry and Horticulture Conference 2026, themed, "Roots of Resilience: Creating Livable Communities Through Healthy Landscapes."

The conference will be held at Cross Point Church of Christ, 1350 Cox Creek Parkway (https://www.google.com/maps/search/1350+Cox+Creek+Parkway?entry=gmail&source=g), on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Expert guest speakers from across the Southeast will cover a variety of topics including those related to how quality of life and biodiversity in our communities is impacted by healthy urban forests and native plant landscapes and various ways citizens may be involved.

Lunch and snacks for registered attendees are included in the admission cost. Lunch will be provided by Cafe 222 at noon. The event also features local-vendor displays and two drawings for door prizes, at noon and at 3:45 pm.

Pre Registration cost is $50.00. Late registration is accepted at the door on the day of the conference and is $55.00.
