Continuing education credits: A total of 4.25 hours will be awarded for this conference. UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Nursing Professional Development Department is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Association Massachusetts an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
To receive the CEU’s, attendees must sign in on the day of the symposium and complete an evaluation at the close of the program.

Guest Keynote Speaker
Michael Petit, Stand-up Host, Executive Producer, and Comedian
Guest Speaker Michael Petit returned from Las Vegas in 2023 providing Laughter at the Paris Hotel. Recently Michael served as host and produced a program for “Suicide Awareness” with the Southcoast Samaritans and will be producing The Paul Center Event, raising funds for children with autism. In 2024, Michael’s speaking engagements will incorporate humor, insight for mental health, and coping mechanisms for staying connected.
