2026 is an exciting year marking the 275th Anniversary of the founding of Dr. Wall’s Porcelain Works and the signing of the deed in June 1751. A celebration of one of the earliest, pioneering and first commercially successful works in England – crucial in the history of transfer-printing and the Midlands industrial revolution.
We will mark the anniversary with a series of events, including an Afternoon Tea on Saturday 20 June, 1pm-3pm. This heritage-inspired event will take place in the elegant setting of Henry Sandon Hall, which was originally the porcelain factory showroom that opened in 1852.
Joining us for this celebration over tea and cake will be an exclusive panel of Worcester Porcelain experts, who will be delighted to share their knowledge and memories of the manufactory.
