Our Climate Cafe Listening Circle is a comfortable, facilitated space where people can share thoughts and feelings about the climate and ecological crises. There are no talks or presentations and nobody gives advice. Rather it’s a chance to connect with others who care, listen deeply and find support while exploring concerns together.
Anyone over 18 who cares and wants to discuss these issues is welcome. Buy a drink and or food if you want, get comfy, and join the open hearted and honest conversation. The facilitators will ensure everyone who wants to is able to speak and be heard, though you don’t have to speak if you don’t want to.

Why do we offer Climate Cafe Listening Circles?
It is becoming increasingly evident that climate and ecological breakdown is not just a distant future threat but an imminent danger to our own safety and wellbeing. People increasingly need to talk about what our changing world means for them at personal, family and societal level. Many people have complex thoughts and feelings about this which may be hard to talk about, even taboo, with friends and family - and our Climate Cafe offers a safe space to explore these issues.
Research on people’s experience of Climate Cafes suggests the benefits can include feeling heard and validated, having increased compassion for themselves and others, and feeling better resourced and resilient to live in a time of crisis.
