25th Annual La Crosse Open - Amateur Registration

The La Crosse Open returns to Pettibone Lagoon this year and strives for a premier athlete and spectator experience. Please read the following details and updates for this year's Open before proceeding to registration:

REGISTRATION

100% of registration fees go back into the La Crosse Open.

SCHEDULE

• 10:00 AM-2:30 PM - Pro Competition - Don't miss the show - Semi-finals/finals at noon!
• 11:00 AM - Amateur Check-in opens
• 3:00-3:30 PM - Amateur Open Warm-Ups (All age divisions) (Amateur Logrolling start time is dependent on the completion of the Pro Awards Ceremony. The start of Amateur Warm Ups will be announced as soon as awards are finished.)
• 3:30 PM - Competitor Meeting and National Anthem
• 3:40 PM - Matches Begin

NEW TO COMPETITION?

• Welcome, we're glad you're joining us for this year's La Crosse Open!
• All participants are required to wear logrolling shoes.
• Check out for beginner resources for tournament day must-knows.

COMPETITION FORMAT AND WARM-UPS

• Divisions with 6 or more competitors will follow a double elimination format.
• Divisions with 5 or less competitors will follow a round robin format (each roller will roll a match against everyone in their division).
• Carpet warm up logs will be available for rollers all throughout the amateur competition (for amateur competitor use only!)

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Amateur competition will follow US Log Rolling rules.
• Competitor shirts will be provided, however, all athletes are welcome to wear whatever attire fits their comfort and style.
• Carpeted logs will be used for amateur competition. Rollers must have logrolling shoes. Extra logrolling shoes will be available for beginners to try (first come, first serve.)

AWARDS

• An amateur awards ceremony will be held upon completion of the final amateur matches! The top three rollers in each division will receive a medal.

FOOD AND VENDORS

• Rollers will receive a competitor bag with snacks
• Coulee Region Logrolling will serve hot dogs, brats, sides, and treats during the pro tournament. Help yourself, but it's only available while supplies last!
• 2026 vendors and food trucks will be onsite all day long!
