Featuring:
Los Cenzontles: since 1989, Los Cenzontles (Nahuatl for “the mockingbirds”) have made a name for themselves among music aficionados across the US and in Europe creating roots music, cross-cultural projects, collaborating on record and live with David Hidalgo, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, and The Chieftains, among others. Their media productions have been broadcast nationally on PBS. Their YouTube Channel hosts hundreds of video shorts.
Miko Marks: Miko is a dynamic singer and performer whose powerful voice and genre-blending style span Americana, blues, southern rock, and gospel. Raised in Flint, Michigan, she emerged in the mid-2000s with two acclaimed country albums before taking time to evolve creatively and return with a bold, authentic sound that reflects her full artistic identity. Her recent work, including Our Country, Race Records, and the acclaimed Feel Like Going Home, explores themes of resilience, healing, and belonging. Known for her commanding stage presence and deeply soulful delivery, Miko Marks continues to captivate audiences and redefine what roots music can be.
