On Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., Esther Klinger will give a talk entitled 25 Interesting Women. She will present trivia and interesting tidbits on some well-known and some not so well-known women who made their mark in history.Ms. Klinger is a retired Physician Assistant, Past President of the Snyder County Historical Society, and is still on the board of the Snyder County Historical Society. She works in the library helping others with genealogy and other history projects; therefore, she doesn’t get enough time to work on her own ancestry, a common problem among historical society volunteers. Klinger has given other presentations for SCHS including Victory Gardens and the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918.
This presentation is free to the public and will take place at the Albright Center for the Arts (corner of Chestnut and Fifth Streets). Ample street parking is available as well as three, city parking lots within two blocks. Consider allowing extra time to find a parking space.
