Rachel Jordan warmly welcomes you to the 24th Lewes Annual All Day Sacred Harp Singing. It takes place in Malling Church, tucked away at the bottom of Church Lane on the edge of town. The church has great acoustics and a lovely setting. We will be singing from The Sacred Harp (Denson book -1991 edition). Come and join us – either to sing or to listen.
We’ll be at Trinity South Malling, Church Lane, Lewes BN7 2JA from 10-4. Parking is available in the lane next to the church.
Singing starts at 10:30am. Registration, tea, coffee and biscuits from 10:00 am. There is no charge for the event, but there’s a collection to cover costs. Bring and share a prepared dish, ready to serve for ‘dinner on the grounds’ in the churchyard – weather permitting! Malling, being an old church, has a small kitchen and no facilities for heating food.
We kindly request everyone to do a COVID test on the morning of the singing. Please do not attend the singing if you test positive, or if you have symptoms of COVID.

For those new to Sacred Harp, this is a great opportunity to ‘give it a go’ amongst a large group of singers. Loaner books are available, so just come along - sit, listen, join in. No obligation to stay for the whole day!
