Dear Colleague

In the next page, you will be allocated a 10 minutes slot for your session.

Please ensure that you are in the centre for your session starting time as late comers might not be admitted and re-booking might be necessary.

The course is made up of three parts:

• A 20 minute online video on BLS theory and practice (we advise that this is completed first),
• A multiple choice online theory assessment
• Face-to-face practical assessment (that you are booking now)

All accessible via the LGT Online Learning Portal, please follow the step below after you login (pictures guide can be find on the link that will be given with the booking confirmation)

1. At the bottom of the screen, select "Complete my Online Learning"
2. Select "Mandatory Training - Clinical Staff"
3. Scroll down the screen until you find the tab called "Resuscitation"
4. On the upper part of the page, under the option "Home", you will find different tabs, select "BASIC LIFE SUPPORT"
5. You can now complete the appropriate eLearning

The Face-2-face assessment is a 10 minute slot and during this session you will need to demonstrate that you can perform the skills learned online. Once this practical assessment has been passed, you will be deemed compliant with BLS for two years.
