About this Event
Reshaping Information Literacy for an Uncertain Future: Sustainability, Adaptability, and Resilience
This year's Information Literacy Summit will explore how librarians are adapting their teaching practices with an eye towards the future. Are we building sustainable and relevant information literacy programs that can keep pace with a rapidly changing information landscape in an increasingly uncertain world?
Our keynote speaker this year is Rachel Fundator, clinical assistant professor at the Purdue University Libraries and School of Information Studies, and Associate Director for the Institute for Information Literacy at Purdue.
Some general themes:
- Technology and Power
- Epistemic Justice
- Civic Engagement
- Mis/disinformation
The full program will be available in early April. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Early Bird Registration ends March 28th, 2025!
We are happy to offer a reduced rate for attendees that are students. We thank RAILS for supporting us through their Continuing Education Event Grant.
This event is sponsored by College of DuPage Library and DePaul University Libraries.
