🌿 Join Us in Sofia for EGC 2026! 🌿The 21st Eurasian Grassland Conference – “Connecting science and conservation for grassland sustainability” will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 19–23 July 2026. The event will bring together researchers, conservationists, and practitioners working on natural and semi-natural grasslands across the Palaearctic region.
Organised by the Eurasian Dry Grassland Group (EDGG) and hosted by the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research, the conference highlights the vital links between ecological research, practical management, and conservation policy in grassland ecosystems.
EGC 2026 promises a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere where science meets real-world conservation. Participants will benefit from high-level keynote lectures, engaging oral and poster sessions, and meaningful networking with colleagues from across Eurasia and beyond.
