NOVEMBER 14 FILM LINEUP: She Measures the Earth
She Measures the Earth follows four women scientists in the Canadian mountains. Blending art, science, and adventure, the film challenges narrow ideas of who belongs in science and inspires bold, diverse voices to lead on climate action.
Ching Yu is a producer-director and former geophysicist whose films drift between science, memory, and emotional rupture. Raised between cultures and now based in the Canadian Rockies, her work blends documentary realism with poetic experimentation, often exploring people navigating unstable landscapes and fractured identities.
