2026 Women in Wine Taste Experience

Join us for another amazing Women in Wine Taste Experience. We're bringing 15 amazing women to Seattle to share their wines.

The Women in Wine Taste Experience was created as a way for the connoisseur to experience wines from diversity in the wine industry while also enjoying small bites created by chef Sabrina Tinsley, executive chef and co-owner of Osteria la Spiga.

started this event in Florida, and moved it to Seattle post pandemic. This is our 7th year, and growing. Past years, guests enjoyed a 4 course dinner from the featured women winemakers. VIP guests had the opportunity to taste additional wines.

Last March, we celebrated A Toast to Excellence with 9 women winemakers. This year, we're spreading the love of wine with the same TASTING EXPERIENCE with 15 women in wine! And again, we're taking over the entire main level of Osteria la Spiga.

TASTE EXPERIENCE IS FROM 3:00 - 6:00 PM. TICKET PRICE IS $155

Guests will enjoy the opportunity to visit multiple wine stations and taste up to 3 different wines from each winemaker. Enjoy a robust charcuterie creation by a Future of Diversity Chef. Included is a signed bottle of wine to take home from one of our featured winemakers when you purchase your ticket by March 5, 2026.

Proceeds benefit the The Black Winemakers Scholarship Fund awards 2-3 students with scholarships ranging from $5,000 - $10,000 annually. Awards are given to students studying viticulture, enology, and like sciences (agriculture, plant pathology, etc.). These awards are one step closer to helping the next generation of Black Winemakers. Your support is greatly appreciated!

MEET THE CHEF

Executive Chef, Sabrina Tinsley, co-owner of Osteria La Spiga, Seattle. Sabrina has taken her Verdun lineage, Louisiana heritage, and combined it with her love of Italy. She and her husband established Osteria La Spiga to bring authentic Italian cuisine to the Pacific Northwest. Her ability to taste the flavor profile in wines, and create cuisine specific dishes is what excites us about this evening event!

Once again, Urban Connoisseurs Founder, Marcia Jones, has created the Perfect Blend! The Mission of Urban Connoisseurs is the connect the Black winemakers to the wine connoisseurs. We do this primarily by creating wine events and blending the experience with some amazing chefs!
