The UCAIR Gas Can Exchange is back! Last year, Davis County showed up, so we’re coming back better stocked and ready for round two.The Gas Can Exchange is a great opportunity for the community to trade in old, leaky gas cans for a cleaner, more environmentally-friendly alternative – for FREE. It’s a great way to reduce emissions and help improve air quality in our region.
Bring your old, empty gas cans and exchange them for a free, EPA-compliant SureCan while supplies last. Each vehicle may exchange up to two cans, and this is a drive-through event only - no walk-ups.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis and will continue until noon or until supplies run out, whichever happens first. Two per vehicle while supplies last.
Important safety reminders: only bring empty gas cans. When preparing old cans, never pour gasoline on the ground or down a drain, and empty any usable fuel into a vehicle or transfer container, or take it to your local hazardous waste facility.
