About this Event
Come join us for a vinyasa flow yoga class designed for skill levels from beginner to intermediate. This class focuses on techniques that connect mind and body to improve both mental and physical well-being. Through intentional breathwork and mindful movement, you’ll learn techniques to help regulate the nervous system and move through a series of yoga poses to build strength, improve balance, and increase flexibility in a safe and stable way. Please bring your own mat, dress in clothing you can move in, and feel free to bring a friend!
Admission is free, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited as it will be held indoors.
Instructor Bio: Melissa Parr is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is currently completing her yoga instructor certification as an RYT-200. As part of her training, she is offering free yoga classes in our community. She enjoys teaching people principles of well-being that blend emotional awareness, body mindfulness, and self-compassion. Drawing on her background in mental health and mindfulness practices, Melissa creates a supportive space where students can utilize intentional movement to increase mind-body awareness and cultivate balance both on and off the mat.
