The first post in the discussion contains a flyer showing the schedule and other info for the 2026 Tuesday Thunder Dirt Oval season.We will open the season on Tuesday, April 14th with a Test and Tune night on a prepped track, hold a Club race on the 21st as an additional chance to shake your cars down and then kick off the first of 2 points series on April 28.
Each of the 2 points series will consist of 10 races with a racer's best 7 finishes counting towards the points championship. There are club races scheduled in between the points series and after the second series to allow for rain out dates or just more fun racing.
Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 in each class which averages at least 5 entries at the end of each of the two points series.
The race program each week will stay the same as last year (seeding round, heat race, mains) and we will stay with earlier 6:30 start time which worked well last year. Doors will open each week at 4 with practice starting at 5.
The cost of the first class is $20 again this season with additional classes being $10 ea. The Youth (15 and under) and Novice cost will be $115. Test and Tune nights will be a flat $15 per person.
