Join us Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on West Walnut Street for a FREE, family-friendly back-to-school celebration!
And we are EXCITED with the StoryWalk we have lined up!
� This year's StoryWalk® will feature "The ABCs of a Teacher" by local educator and author Sherna Spearman-Lott. The StoryWalk® will be displayed on storefront windows on W. Walnut St., and Sherna will be on hand during the event with copies of her book available for purchase and autographing.

� Fire trucks, tractors, police cruisers, ambulances, and more to explore
� Meet local heroes from across Wayne County
� Vendors, giveaways, and fun activities for the whole family
� Churches and civic clubs are invited to distribute school supplies
� Quiet Hour from 9:00–10:00 AM for sensory-sensitive children (no sirens or horns)
� Proudly sponsored by the Wayne County Board of Tourism, Jesup Downtown Development Authority, and Wayne County Emergency Management Agency.
� Where: West Walnut Street (between North Macon Street and Northwest Broad Street)

Interested vendors may contact Heather Altman at the Wayne County Board of Tourism at 912-427-3233. DO NOT PAY ANYONE A VENDOR FEE FOR THIS EVENT. FACEBOOK SCAMMERS ON REAL. Let Heather know what you are vending. You may leave a message with Tonya. We don't have forms for you to fill out. We will get your name, number, and what you are vending. Again, do not pay anyone to be a vendor at this event.
