2026 Take Back the Night

This will be Douglas County’s 2nd Annual Take Back the Night Event hosted by Peace at Home Advocacy Center and community partners. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about how a community can support survivors of sexual violence. This event will begin October 22, 2026, at 5:30pm on the Douglas County Courthouse steps/lawn. Together, at 6pm we will walk downtown Roseburg to speak out about not tolerating sexual violence, support survivors in their healing, and creating a safer community for all.
Participants will need to register; there is a FREE option to participate. Registration opens August 5, 2026. Take Back the Night is an internationally recognized event to bring communities together to speak out against violence.
