Get ready to get swept away by the power of a good yarn! Cookeville Storyfest is back, still completely FREE, and we’re moving to a gorgeous new home at the performance pavilion in beautiful Dogwood Park. We will have chairs right on stage, amid the action, or you can bring your own to sit in a spot of your choosing. Whether you’re a fan of tall tales, heartwarming history, or side-splitting comedy, this year’s lineup has something for every set of ears in town. We are beyond thrilled to welcome Storyfest favorite, the legendary Andy Offutt Irwin! A master of physical comedy, incredible vocal effects, and profound storytelling, Andy will be taking the stage twice to make us laugh until we cry (and maybe cry until we laugh). Think you’ve got a story worth sharing? Our Amateur Storytelling Competition at 1:30 p.m. is the place to be! Come cheer on your neighbors as they take the mic and compete for storytelling glory.
