With accolades from critics and fans alike, EmiSunshine has earned her place in the spotlight. And she’s just getting started. Born to a stand-up comedian and an actress, Sam Hatmaker grew up in Knoxville assuming that being on stage was simply part of life. That instinct took shape early, and by age ten she was already performing professionally in shows at Dollywood. As her path came into focus, Hatmaker set her sights on songwriting, relocating to Nashville after signing her first publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music at just sixteen. In 2019, she recorded her debut EP with Grammy Award-winning producer Nathan Chapman, marking the beginning of a career defined by thoughtful storytelling, expressive vocals, and a modern Americana sound. Her newest album, Trailer Park Traitor, further cements her self-coined “y’all-ternative” sound, pairing candid, introspective songwriting with indie textures and Southern grit.

Together, EmiSunshine and Sam Hatmaker carry the tradition of acoustic storytelling forward, bridging generations of roots music with fresh perspectives and sincere lyrical craft. Their joint performance — with separate sets and select collaborative moments — promises to be both intimate and inspiring. Recent accolades include recognition at the 2025 Josie Music Awards for their collaborative song “Hercules,” a testament to the artistic synergy these two artists share.
