We are looking for a diversity of team players with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and sharing Arabic culture through dance and music. Dancers are not required to have regional dance experience, but strong performing skills and a some Middle Eastern Dance experience needed. Members are required to attend rehearsals on Sundays from 2-4 pm (extended to 2-5 pm in busy seasons), pay monthly dues to help cover operational costs, and sign a year contract. Costuming and props are provided, although dancers are responsible for personal items such as dance shoes, jewelry, undergarments. All genders, ages, bodies, and backgrounds welcome!To reserve your spot, email [email protected] the following before January 2nd:
- Dance resume including performer name and social media handles
- Headshot
- Write up including: Why you are interested in joining the Qabila Dance Co? What folk dances are you inspired to learn more about and which do you have experience in? What additional skills could you offer in assistance?
