Open Reflective Day - a chance to come to this extraordinary urban oasis for your personal quiet day.
About this Event

We are delighted to continue opening our doors in 2026 so individuals can access our urban oasis for a personal quiet day, or book our special StaySunday offer.

Most people choose to begin their day by joining the welcome ' thought for the day' on Monday at 10.30am

These are not led days but rather as opportunities for people to have some space and quiet in their lives.

Whilst we cannot offer exclusive personal use of any room, there will always be space and a quiet corner for all our guests.

The Open Reflective Days usually run from 8 am until 5.30 pm but you are welcome to come and join us for as much of the day as your commitments allow.

During the day you are welcome to join our optional services held in our Chapel. Depending on availability we often can offer an opportunity to book a slot to meet with a trained listener, during your day. Kindly note these slots can only be booked on arrival.

We offer this day at the subsidised rate of £34 ~ it includes morning coffee and pastries, lunch and an afternoon pot of tea and cake.

Option to StaySunday

We are delighted to be able to offer a chance to stay over on Sunday through to the Open Reflective Day on Monday. This would enable you to enjoy a full 24 hours residential retreat.

StaySunday enables you to extend your Open Reflective Day by arriving after lunch on Sunday and staying in one of our lovely new en-suite single bedrooms B&B until 11am or with a StaySunday PLUS until 1pm.

Please note that on the Sunday there will be no Chapel services but you are welcome to use our Chapel, gardens, lounge and library for your personal reflections. While no food is included in the cost for the Sunday, you are most welcome to visit our Yurt cafe.

Stay Sunday includes- B&B on Sunday night in addition to the Open Reflective Day on Monday.

Kindly note that places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Kindly note :-

Any non-chargeable cancellations should be made at least 7 days prior to the day of arrival. A 100% cancellation fee will be made for any late cancellations or non-arrivals.

Kindly note that any refunds will exclude Eventbrite and or administration fees.
