2026 Midsummer Book Sale at The Printed Garden

The Printed Garden enjoyed its 10th Birthday this year, and we know that it has very much to do with all of the special people who have chosen to either make us your regular bookstore or, at the very least, one of the places where you know you can find both the best new books and a carefully curated assortment of the very best very gently used secondhand books.
To say thank you to you both for helping us get here in the first place, and for your ongoing support, we're going to do some serious discounting from the time we open on Tuesday, July 21st, until we close on Saturday, July 25th. For the duration of this week, everything in the store, new and used, will be 30% off. If you purchase 4 or more hardcover books or 6 or more paperback books, we'll bump that discount to 40% off!
There are a couple of exceptions (there are always exceptions!):
First: the rare and signed books in the glass cases will be discounted on a discretionary basis. This means they may or may not be, but if there's something you're interested in, please ask because I'm not afraid to do some discounting.
Second: we're not able to discount items that are in the store on consignment. If you have questions about something you suspect is a consignment book, let me know and I'll look it up. These are a very small part of our inventory.
Third: The sale does not include special orders. You may still place special orders during this week or pick up previously ordered books, but the sale prices cannot be applied.
Finally: Our partner business, Daybreak Records, is a completely separate business and not owned by us, so the sale is not applicable to the records, CDs, laserdiscs, cassette tapes, etc.
