2026 Mass of Remembrance | International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

The Diocese of Lafayette’s Office of Marriage and Family Life invites all who are grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide to a special Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette.
Together, we will remember those we hold close in our hearts, entrust them to God’s loving mercy, and pray for comfort, healing, and hope for their families and loved ones.
Families are invited to bring a framed tabletop photograph of their loved one and may register to have a candle bearing their loved one’s name placed near the altar.

Registration and remembrance candles will be available at the door. However, to have your loved one’s name included in the printed Mass program, you must register online by November 16.
