REGULATIONS
Address: Roberta Feldmaņa iela 8A, Riga.
Competition format
The Latvian Open SUP Championship is held in the 14’ board category in the men’s and women’s OPEN groups
Registration.
Registration for the competition takes place on the day of the competition at the Chief Judge of the competition.
Equipment
Competitors start with composite or inflatable boards, the length of which is not more than 14’ (4m 27cm).
Distances
Shore start and finish procedures.
Technical sprint distance: 300m
It takes place according to the hit system. The exact format of the Sprint distance will be determined after the registration of the participants depending on the number of registered participants.
Long distance: 10km
There is one entry in both groups.
At the participants’ meeting, the Chief Judge of the competition introduces the participants to the distance and its rules.

10:00 – 10:45 Registration
11:00 Participants’ meeting
11:30 First start sprint
14:00 Start long distance
16:00 Awards
Evaluation
The 3 best participants in each distance in each group will be awarded with diplomas and medals.
By summing up the results in the technical sprint and long distances, the 2026 Latvian absolute champions in the men’s and women’s groups will be determined, who will receive cups and diplomas. The 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive diplomas.
