The Kiwanis Club of Columbia is proud to announce the 14th annual Bill LaMotte Memorial Golf Classic benefiting our Club’s youth service initiatives on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at the Fort Jackson Golf Course.
Since its inception our annual tournament has helped Kiwanis Club of Columbia raise over $100,000 in support of youth initiatives.
Our Club is honored to memorialize the tournament for its founding member, Bill LaMotte. Bill passed away in the fall of 2012 after decades of work in our community and for our Club. A Past President of our Club, Bill worked to create our annual golf tournament and was instrumental in developing our partnership with the Ray Tanner Foundation.
Serving the Midlands for 106 years, the Kiwanis Club is one of Columbia’s oldest civic organizations. From our earliest days, the Club has strived to make a difference in our community by donating our time, energy, and resources to support our local youth. We sincerely hope you will join our mission by supporting our tournament through a team or sponsorship.
