2026 Iowa Brewery Running Series Kick Off Party

We run for beer and we’re kicking off the 2026 Iowa Brewery Running Series® with YOU!

Join us for an open house style event where you’ll score the best registration deals of the season. Enjoy a brew from Firetrucker Brewery and celebrate the start of another year of running, Iowa beer, and giving back.

Plus NEW this year - optional participant-led 2 mile dash prior to the event at 1:30PM. Main event will run from 2 - 4PM.

We’re trying something new this year! A fun, social warmup before the main event to meet fellow runners

• Route - High Trestle Trail to NW State St and back
• No beer or swag included
• Your name will be entered into a special raffle for prizes

This dash is optional, free, participant-led, and not part of our regular 2026 Iowa Brewery Running Series schedule. It's just a good way to meet other fellow Iowa Brewery Running Series runners! Don't want to run? No worries, come for the main event between 2 - 4.

When: Sunday, March 22
Time: 2:00–4:00 PM (come anytime, stay as long as you’d like!)
Where: Firetrucker Brewery
Cost: FREE to attend but RSVP is required

Important Event Details:

• This event is not a 2026 Iowa Brewery Running Series beer run, it’s a fun kickoff where you can grab discounts and deals before the season starts! If you want to run, you can join the optional 1:30 PM 2-mile dash.
• This event is free to attend, but RSVP is required. Please help spread the word. Share this and our socials with your contacts and invite them to partake in the fun!
• With the purchase of a package, you will receive a token for a beer provided by Firetrucker Brewery. Token must be redeemed day of. You do not need to be 21 to attend this event, but you must be 21+ to enjoy the beer.
• This event will flow like an open house between 2pm - 4pm. Come when you're able, stay as long as you wish!
• This event offers the best Brewery Running Series registration deals of the season - we will be onsite to help answer questions about our 2026 Events and Registration Packages
• Raffle items will be given away periodically, must be present to win
• The 2 Mile Dash is completely optional, free, and not included in our 2026 Iowa Brewery Running Series beer runs. There will be no swag item or beer token. Beer token is given with the purchase of a package at the main kick off event. The dash will start and end at Firetrucker Brewery. Event details will be given a week prior to the event.
• If you select the 'virtual ticket' option, you will get access to 20-50% off the 2026 Iowa Brewery Running Series events and option for add on Brew Crew perks. You have all day on the 22nd to pick your events and purchase.
