Memorial Day Murph ChallengeIn Honor of Lt. Michael Murphy
The Murph Challenge is completed annually on Memorial Day to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. Lt. Murphy was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions.
The Workout
For Time:
1 Mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Air Squats
1 Mile Run
Traditional Rules:
Wear a 20lb weighted vest (14lb for women) if prescribed
Complete all reps before moving to the next exercise
Valkyrie Society Members: Free
Non- Members $20 Cash Due the Day of Event
