Who is ready for the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup?
Come join us for the 40th Annual International Coastal Cleanup!
With our passion for protecting the planet and our local waterways, Keep Charlotte Beautiful and our partners, Surfing’s Evolution & Preservation and Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership, are proud to pledge our support and participate in the global movement by organizing a Coastal Cleanup on Charlotte County’s shorelines.
Where: Beaches, canals, ponds, and waterways throughout the county
Please note! Approximately 80% of litter that is on our roads, ends up in our waterways. Please consider other areas for cleanup than just our beaches! Roadways near canals are great places to start!
When: Our official date will be September 19th or choose a date your friends and family prefer!
Time: On September 19th from 9 am to 11 am.
Who: Anyone who can pick up litter or help beautify or community!
Fee: This is a free community event open to everyone!.
The first 700 to register will get a free t-shirt!

Sponsorships available-$100 gets your logo on the back of the shirt. Logos due by August 1st.

KCB will provide safety and collection supplies for your cleanup. The supply pickup is TBA. Your group lead will pick up the supplies. Email [email protected]. if you have any questions.

Kayakers meet at Bill Coy and Boats meet at Ainger Creek

Harborside Hometown Clean Sweep Cleanup - Punta Gorda Girlfriends
Meet at the Celtic Ray, 145 E. Marion. Cleanup is from 9:00-noon.
Supplies will be distributed that morning.
More places and dates will be added shortly!
Cleanup reports need to be turned in within one week of your cleanup. We can’t brag on what you did, if you don’t send in your reports. 😉
