Description:
Celebrate the season and wrap up the year with Merritt Island fused glass artist Lauren at the 2026 Cookin' with Glass Holiday End-of-Year Open Studio Bash!
Whether you are a longtime glass enthusiast, a holiday shopper looking for one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts, or completely new to the world of fused glass, this open studio event has something for everyone. Come explore the studio, see where the kiln magic happens, and enjoy an afternoon of festive holiday cheer.
Event Highlights:
• Studio & Kiln Tour: Get an insider’s look at my home studio, meet Burnadette the kiln, and see Henrietta (my fused glass Octopus Art) live and in person!
• DIY Snowglobe Workshop: Step up to the studio table and craft your own beautiful fused glass snowglobe decoration for $20. Note: Because these pieces must be kiln-fired, your finished project will be available for pickup later in the week or can be shipped directly to you for a nominal cost.
• Handcrafted Shopping: Discover a vibrant collection of fused glass artwork, suncatchers, and holiday decor available for purchase.
• Holiday Cheer: Complimentary snacks, drinks, festive music, and exciting door prizes throughout the afternoon.
• Game Day Ready: NFL games will be broadcasting live in the studio so the fellows can stay caught up on the scores while you socialize!
