Friday night kickoff party at GFAA Gallery, May 29, 6PM - 8PM
Working artists in the Gainesville area open up their studios to the general public every year for a weekend.
On this self-guided tour, you have the unique opportunity to witness art in the making through impromptu demonstrations and examples of the artistic process in various stages.
You'll be able to ask each artist questions about their process, see that process in action, and purchase a wide range of original works of art directly from each artist.
This project is funded in part by Visit Gainesville, Alachua County, in part by the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment of the Arts and in part by a grant from the City of Gainesville, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department
