On Founders Day we remember the six visionary nurses who founded Sigma Theta Tau in 1922. You are invited to join the NJ Consortium of Sigma Chapters to celebrate our shared history and the Consortium's 40th Anniversary, to meet and honor your colleagues, and to learn something new.

All NJ Sigma Chapters are welcome and invited to join the NJ Consortium and attend our event. We are an informal networking group that has been meeting since 1986 when we hosted the first Founders Day Celebration in a collaborative effort to present an outstanding scholarly program and provide opportunity to meet colleagues from other Sigma chapters within NJ. This annual scholarly program hosts a popular keynote speaker that has been vetted and excels in their area of expertise in research, leadership, innovation or clinical practice. The NJ Consortium also recognizes exemplary leadership, mentorship and early leadership talent in our colleagues by presenting prestigious awards during this celebration.
