2026 Federal Bar Association Conference & CLE

Please join us for the 2026 Federal Bar Association for the Eastern District of Washington's Annual Conference & CLE. Speakers include Circuit Judge Salvador Mendoza, Jr., Chief Judge Stanley Bastian, Jeanne Marie Clavere, Gonzaga Faculty Nicholas Marquiss and Erica Golberg, and many others. Topics will include persuasive appellate advocacy; A.I. best practices; a review of recent SCOTUS decisions, updates on sealing documents and protective orders in light of security breaches and new Ninth Circuit caselaw, critical updates to the civil and criminal local rules, and annual state of the district and state of the circuit presentations.

We have heard your feedback from recent years! This year we will be holding our event at Gonzaga University's Hemmingson Center, where a working lunch will be provided, and the event will conclude earlier while still maintaining the quality and number of CLE hour historically provided.

Finally, after last year's success, we are expanding our pre-conference speakers' and judges' dinner to a greater number of attendees. Dinner will be hosted at the historic Glover Mansion at 6:00 p.m. the evening before.
