2026 Enjoy Life Active Aging Symposium

This is a FREE, fun, and engaging event for older adults 55+ focused on the importance of active aging. The day has been thoughtfully designed by Capri Communities—Wisconsin’s experts in senior living. At Capri, our tagline is "enjoy life". It is something that we strive to do with our residents every day, so we wanted to share this philosophy with our greater community. The Enjoy Life Symposium is not about senior living but, rather, the importance of staying active in mind, body, and spirit and living life to the fullest.

At the Enjoy Life Symposium, the day is yours to create. Featured speakers, exhibitors, interactive activities, educational breakout sessions, raffles, senior clubs and organizations, food, music, and much more will be on hand for you to explore and enjoy.

Our Main Stage, sponsored by Network Health, will feature gardening expert Melinda Myers, who will demonstrate beautiful and easy container gardening; a senior fashion trends show emceed by John McGivern; and a celebrity cooking demonstration focused on delicious meals for one or two.

We have many fun surprises and guests planned for the 2026 Enjoy Life Active Aging Symposium, and hope that you will join us and share this event with your friends. The more the merrier!

Soft drinks, bottled water, and $10 boxed lunches from Cousins Subs will be available for purchase. You are also welcome to bring in your own food to enjoy throughout the day.

Info: Event doors will open promptly at 8:30 am, not earlier. If you don't want to wait outside, we encourage you to arrive on or after 8:30 am. Exhibitor booths will also open at 8:30 am and will remain open throughout the event. Exhibitors will be located on both the lower and middle levels. Elevators are available on both sides of the event floor and will be marked with signage.

Info: If you're interested in learning about tips and tricks designed to help you look and feel your best as you age, don't miss our senior fashion trends show, emceed by the one and only John McGivern! This show will feature fashion from a variety of your favorite retailers from throughout the Milwaukee area. Learn how to accentuate your positives and not let fashion or hairstyles date you. This is a show you won't want to miss!

Info: Enjoy learning how to make healthy and delicious meals for one or two people with simple, fresh ingredients. Our celebrity chef will share helpful tips on food prep and storage. He will also prepare a delicious treat that our audience will sample on the way out of this session. A few lucky audience members will also win some exciting food storage prize packages!

Info: Subject matter experts will present 45-minute educational breakout sessions throughout the day on topics relevant to older adults. Sessions will begin on the hour, and many will be repeated to provide multiple opportunities to participate. Consult your program for timing and locations. Topics are in development and subject to change, but include: Common Scams and How to Avoid Them, Intimacy After Sixty, Medicare 101, Tech Tips, Stretching and Balance, Speed Friending, True Cost of Senior Care, Best Vitamins and Supplements for Seniors, Power of Attorney and Executors, How to Digitally Preserve Your Memories, How to Text and Use Emojis to Impress Your Grandchildren.

Info: Specifics on the agenda are still being finalized, but we will host a variety of interactive activities throughout the day - both indoors and under our outdoor tent. Activities will include cardio drumming, yoga and other TBD events.
