2026 DYSRHYTHMIA INTERPRETATION LEVEL 1

Location: 2 Compton Education Classroom (2425)

Course Description: This course is designed to provide the licensed healthcare professional with an integrated understanding of cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation

and management.

Course requirements include: Completion of assigned online dysrhythmia modules, significant home study and practice, and individual/group interaction during class. To receive CE credit, you must be present until the end of the course and provide information as requested by the instructor.

Course Objectives:

• Identify the parts of the cardiac conduction system
• and state their function.
• Accurately measure PR & QRS intervals.
• Demonstrate systematic evaluation of a rhythm strip.
• Identify the various dysrhythmias and their
• clinical significance.
• Discuss possible treatment options based on clinical presentation and ECG pattern.
• Illustrate proper electrode placement for a 5 wire system.

Materials will be sent via email 3-4 weeks prior to the start of the course. A score of at least 80% is required for a course completion certificate. If course is not completed fees may be charged.

• No charge to CH employees.

Non-Employees

• Non-employees may send an email to [email protected] for registration instructions.
• Fee is $200 for Cottage Travelers and other Non-employees.
• Cancellations for NON-employees will be accepted via Eventbrite cancellation request 48 hours prior to the start of the course. Participants who cancel after this time frame or are a “no-show” will be charged the full amount. In the event that a course offering is cancelled, enrollees will be notified by phone or mail.

Full refunds will be made to the Non-employee.
