2026 Dorothy's Dash 5K and Kid's K

Registration is now open for our 2026 Dorothy’s Dash 5K and Kid’s K! Held each November, the event honors former Town employee Dorothy Walkup, whose seven-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis ended in November 2004. Net proceeds from this event benefit the Texas Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Dorothy’s honor.
This year, the event will be at Bakersfield Park (1201 Duncan Ln.) on Saturday, Nov. 7. On-site registration will start at 7 a.m., with the Kid's K kicking off at 8 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk starting at 8:30 a.m.
Make sure you take advantage of early bird registration! Register before Tuesday, Sept. 1, and save on the 5K rate. To learn more and register, visit www.flowermound.gov/dorothysdash.
