2026 Detroit Girls Summer Volleyball League
About this Event
The Detroit Volleyball Coaches Association's Detroit Girls Summer Volleyball League takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 23 - August 4.
Beginner and younger players start at 5 pm. Focus is on basic volleyball skills: serving, passing, setting, and hitting.
Advanced and high school players at 6 pm. Includes skill-based drills and game play each day in teams grouped by skill level.
Coaches are local high school, AAU and college coaches with years of experience working with young people. In addition, guest coaches make surprise appearances throughout the summer.
Each player must have a current, paid Detroit Recreation Department Membership ($7) which can be purchased online here.
Each participant receives a T-shirt at the end of the summer.
