2026 Data4Good Datathon | Data Science UCSB

Data Science UCSB is excited to present Data4Good 2026, a 36-hour datathon dedicated to leveraging data science and technology for social impact. Taking place February 21-22, 2026 at the Loma Pelona Center, this event brings together student innovators, data scientists, and technology enthusiasts to build meaningful solutions that address real-world challenges.

As the largest STEM organization on campus with over 500 members, Data Science UCSB offers exceptional access to UC Santa Barbara's most motivated technical talent. Our participants come from diverse academic backgrounds, with a majority studying Computer Science, Statistics, and Data Science.

Throughout the 36 hours, participants will have access to technical workshops, professional development sessions, mentorship opportunities, and networking with industry sponsors and judges. _____________________________________________________________________________________________

Sponsorship Packages

Bronze - $500

• Logo exposure on marketing materials, t-shirts, and at event
• Company merchandise distribution
• Send judges (virtually or in-person)

Silver - $750

• All Bronze benefits, plus:
• Host info session during event
• Provide technology for projects to use

Gold - $1,250+

• All Silver benefits, plus:
• Host office hours/workshops to teach students your technology
• Speak at opening or closing ceremony
• Sponsor-specific judging criteria
