About this Event
Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT) is an evidence-based treatment for the coginitive difficulties experienced by people with severe mental illness. This Australasian conference brings together clinical and non-clinical mental health staff as well as people with lived experience to extend their knowledge and practice of this treatment. At the conference on 18th Sept, we have two international experts, Prof. Chris Bowie and Prof. Alice Medalia, presenting virtually live as well as other in-person presentations from researchers, clinicians, and those with lived experience accross NZ and Australia.
The pre-conference workshop on 17th Sept is on Social Cognition Interaction Training (SCIT), an important adjunct to CRT and will be presented by Assc. Prof. Frances Dark from Queensland.
Pre Conference Workshop Social Cognition Interaction Training (SCIT): 17th September 9:30am to 4pm
2026 Cognitive Remediation Conference: 18th September 8:45am to 5pm
