This session steps away from the headlines and focuses on the practical side of investing in a world shaped by AI. Matt Logan, a Portfolio Manager at Fisher Funds, will walk through how AI is influencing portfolios today, and where we are seeing real impacts in markets and investment decisions. With almost 20 years' experience at Fisher Funds, Matt is a senior member of the investment team and brings extensive experience analysing markets, managing risk and identifying investment opportunities.
He will cover:
• How AI is affecting global markets and investment returns
• Where opportunities may sit, and where risks are building
• How your KiwiSaver or investment portfolio may already have exposure
• What a considered, long-term approach looks like in this environment
This is an opportunity to ask questions and understand how this fits into your wider financial plan, and what it may mean for your own situation.
A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
You are welcome to arrive from 11.30am for a coffee and a chat, with the presentation starting at 12.00pm. If you are joining us for your lunch break, feel free to arrive closer to the start time. We will be in the Marama room, 50 Albert Street, Auckland.
