About this Event

Welcome to our 3rd Celebrate Recovery! Walk & Poetry Reading event! This year we will be holding the walk in Ravenna at First Congregational Church! Join us on September 12, 2026 at 9:00 AM (Eastern Time) for a day filled with healing and creativity.

Come together with others in the community to walk, reflect, and share poetry that inspires hope and courage. This event is all about supporting each other on those who may be on journeys towards recovery and growth.

Whether you're a seasoned poet or just looking to enjoy some beautiful verses, this event is open to all. Let's connect, encourage one another, and celebrate the strength found in vulnerability.

Gather & Refreshments

Info: The event starts at First Congregational Church. Here, we will meet as a group, grab signs and shirts, and get some refreshments to fuel you up for the walk!

Walk

Info: We will be walking around downtown Ravenna, near the courthouse, looping back to First Congregational Church.


🕑: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Poetry Reading

Info: Bring a poem, volunteer to read a prepared poem, or simply listen and support! Weather permitting we will have the poetry reading outside in the beautiful gazebo at First Congreational Church. If rain does occur, the poetry reading will be moved indoors.
