🐞 Welcome to the “Bugs Don’t Bug Me” Day Summer Camp!
(Entomology & Beekeeping)
Join us at the Dallas County Roads & Bridges District / Dallas County Urban Farm for a buzzing good time as we explore the fascinating world of insects and beekeeping!
🗓️ Important Camp Information
*Camp Dates: Tuesday July 28, Wednesday July 29th, & Thursday July 30th.
**Camp Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (camp begins promptly each day).
***AGES: 8 - 13 years old (3rd to 8th grades) Leadership opportunities for Teens 14-17 years old.
Transportation: This is a day camp. Transportation is not provided. Parents or guardians are responsible for daily drop-off and pick-up.
Meals: Lunch is not included, but we’ll provide fun and nutritious refreshments & snacks each day.
Materials & Supplies: All supplies are provided, and there will be plenty of giveaways for campers to take home.

🐝 What to Expect
Our camp is perfect for nature lovers and curious minds eager to dive into the world of bugs. Campers will:
- Catch and process insects for identification and analysis.
- Identify and learn about a variety of insects
- Participate in hands-on beekeeping activities
- Create their own insect collection to take home
- Discover the importance of critters we often overlook
This is a unique opportunity to explore the tiny creatures that play a big role in our world!
