About this Event

We’re thrilled to announce the 2025 Youth Mental Health Action Event!


Co-hosted by the Association for Children’s Mental Health and Youth United, this year's event will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Lansing Center in Lansing, MI.



Theme

“Great Change from the Great Lakes: Driving the Revolution for Youth Mental Wellness”

Together, ACMH and Youth United aim to ignite transformative change in youth mental health across Michigan.

This event will feature inspiring keynote speakers, engaging breakout sessions, and practical strategies to support the mental health and wellness of youth and families. Attendees can also enjoy light refreshments, explore a resource fair, and participate in interactive activities designed to foster connection and empowerment.

Space is limited! You must be registrered to attend.



Choose your registration type: $10 Refundable Registration or Free for Students!

$10 Refundable Registration – Check in at the event to receive your refund or choose to donate it! If you choose to donate be sure to indicate this on the registration form.

✔ Pay a $10 registration fee (Eventbrite fees are non-refundable).
✔ Attend and check in at the event.
✔ After the event, you can request a refund—or leave your fee as a donation.

Students attendees do not have to pay. To register for free, select the "Student Registration (Free)" ticket option OR use the promo code STUDENTFREE at checkout.

Donations will go toward venue costs, processing fees, and any remaining funds will be donated to Youth MOVE Detroit in conjunction with Youth MOVE National's Giving Campaign.

Call for Presenters

We’re seeking passionate and engaging presenters to lead breakout sessions aligned with our theme. If you have expertise, tools, or insights that empower youth, families, or professionals, we invite you to apply.



Why Present?

This event, co-hosted by Youth United and ACMH, gathers youth, caregivers, advocates, and mental health professionals to:

  • Share knowledge, tools, and strategies to improve youth mental health.
  • Foster collaboration and community building.
  • Highlight innovative, evidence-based practices.

Successful proposals will:

  • Clearly outline 3 specific learning objectives aligned with event goals.
  • Offer interactive, practical takeaways.
  • Ideally include youth or individuals with lived experience as part of the team.

Deadline to submit a proposal is due by March 17, 2025. Email notifications will be sent by March 24, 2025.

Special Instructions & Event Policies


Refund Policy

We understand that plans change, so we’ve structured our refund policy as follows:

Refunds Before the Event Begins:

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made on or before May 2nd will receive a 100% refund.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made before May 9th will receive a 50% refund.
  • No Refunds: Cancellations made on or after May 10th (including event day) are non-refundable, unless the attendee checks in at the event.

Refunds After the Event Ends:

  • If you did not indicate a donation of your registration fee, you must check in at the registration table on the day of the event to receive a full refund.

💡 Please indicate at the time of registration if you wish to donate your registration fee. If no preference is provided, we will assume you would like a refund if eligible.

Cancellation Policy


Canceling ahead of time allows waitlisted attendees the opportunity to attend.For any refund requests, please allow 5-7 business days for processing.

If you used the student promo code, you must cancel by May 9th to allow waitlisted attendees the opportunity to attend. Since promo code users did not pay for registration, refunds do not apply.

If you need to cancel your registration, please do so via Eventbrite or contact Sara Reynolds () by May 14, 2025.

By attending, you consent to the use of your photo/video for publication. To request removal, contact us. While we’ll do our best to accommodate, removal cannot be guaranteed.

Together, we’ll highlight the importance of collaboration, innovation, and advocacy in driving transformative change for youth mental health across Michigan.
