Open Table Ministry's 16th annual Walk in Their Shoes 5K Walk and Fun Run is a self-timed out-and-back 5K walk or run along the beautiful Third Fork Creek Trail.Registration is FREE - however, donations are welcome and registering at the $45 level or more entitles you to one free T-shirt and swag bag! On-site registration, t-shirt pickup, and other festivities begin at 9:00am. Event kicks off at 10am. All in-person participants are eligible for our door prizes!
This year's fun community event will feature King's Breakfast & More Food Truck, great prizes, and Batalá, Durham's premiere Afro-Brazilian reggae drum band!
'Walk in Their Shoes' supports Open Table Ministry's mission to end homelessness through community. At Open Table Ministry, we support our neighbors experiencing homelessness by providing basic necessities like food and clothing, and offering care and support throughout the housing and job navigation process. All proceeds will go to benefit the homeless community of Durham!
In-person registration opens at 9am the day of, and the event kicks off at 10am. We look forward to seeing you all there.
