Join us at City Sprouts for an 8-week hands-on journey into sustainability, creativity, and community building!

Highlights include:

• Farm Tour: Explore the sustainable urban garden, learn about different farming methods, and interact with farm animals.
• Composting Workshop: Learn simple DIY methods to turn kitchen food waste into compost, and replicate the eco-friendly practice at home.
• Plant Propagation & Maintenance: Learn how to grow new plants from cuttings, and the essentials of plant care to ensure a healthy garden.
• Intergenerational workshop: Join seniors from Econ Nursing Home to make traditional snowskin mooncakes and celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival together!
• Upcycle Wheelchair Planter: Turn used wooden pallets into functional wheelchair-friendly planters and bring gardening closer to the community.
• Upcycle Art: Transform everyday plastic waste into a creative, eco-friendly art piece.
• Upcycle Craft: Give new life to used coffee pods and craft them into beautiful flower art.
• Farm-to-Table Delights: Harvest fresh herbs from the garden and make your own tasty green pandan egg tart, blue pea Ondeh Ondeh and nasi ulam.

IMPORTANT

• NO transport provided! For those who select MRT, we will meet you at Redhill MRT for the 1st session to take the bus together.
• Halal ingredients will be used for making mooncake, Ondeh Ondeh and egg tart. Each member will bring back 1 mooncake.

• Due to limited slots per CORE activity, if a member is absent 3 consecutive times without a valid reason, his/her slot will be given to members on the waiting list.
• Members must be accompanied by 1 caregiver except for members who require 2 caregivers’ assistance.
