2025 NSF Convergence Accelerator Principal Investigator Meeting

ABOUT

The 2025 U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Convergence Accelerator Principal Investigator (PI) Meeting is a valuable opportunity for funded researchers and innovators from across the NSF Convergence Accelerator portfolio to connect with the program team and each other.

The two-day meeting will highlight important information about NSF, the Directorate for Technology, Innovations and Partnerships, and the NSF Convergence Accelerator, as well as feature topics to help strengthen teams, solutions, and more.

Each day will feature a morning general session and afternoon breakout sessions specific to the convergent track or cohort. Specifically, the meeting will highlight the key elements of the Convergence Accelerator program. Attendees will have ample opportunities to learn from other researchers, discuss track specific items, and network with team members from different tracks.

There will be ample time for networking throughout the conference.

AGENDA

The PI Meeting will include a general session each morning and track-specific breakout sessions in the afternoons. We will provide a detailed agenda once finalized.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Researchers from Tracks E, G, H, I, J, K, L and M and currently funded by the NSF Convergence Accelerator are expected to attend. Each team is expected to have 3-5 team members attend. It is expected that the PI and Co-PIs will attend, along with a mix of experts and key partners supporting your team and solution. If your team would like to have more members attend, please connect with your track program director.

Researchers from Tracks A, B, C, D and F are encouraged to attend, however, attending the PI meeting is at the researcher’s expense.

NSF partners and colleagues are also encouraged to attend.

REGISTRATION

Once a team has selected the team members to attend the PI meeting, each team member MUST register themselves. NSF partners and colleagues may register themselves.

SLEEPING ROOM BLOCK

NSF has secured a sleeping room block, within government per diem, for meeting attendees. Attendees MUST book through the sleeping room block before Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Attendees are responsible for securing their own sleeping room arrangements as well as payment for their sleeping room.

Lodging Rates: $276.00 plus 14.25% tax per night. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit and guaranteed with a major credit card.
