Let’s get the springtime party started downConstitution Avenue as the iconic National Cherry
Blossom Festival Parade® presented by Events
DC steps off on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m.
– 12:30 p.m.!
This high-energy celebration brings
together fantastical helium balloons, dazzling
fl oats, top marching bands from across the country,
celebrity performances, and more in the Nation’s
beloved springtime parade.
This year’s star-studded lineup includes
Grand Marshal Ken Jennings of Jeopardy!, a
performance from dance diva Crystal Waters,
along with American Idol season 19 contestant
maryjo, Asher HaVon season 25 fi rst LGBTQ+
winner of NBC’s The Voice, Deejay Young from
Broadway’s “Hamilton,” CAMEO, and Quad City
DJ’s - all ready to get the crowd moving! Plus,
powerhouse vocalist Kathy Sledge of Sister
Sledge and family will rock the street in an
unforgettable performance.
Adding even more magic to the festivities are
Special Guests Princess Ariel from Disney’s
Animated Classic “The Little Mermaid” with Mickey
Mouse and Minnie Mouse from Walt Disney
World® Resort – The Most Magical Place on Earth.
And don’t forget to look up! Giant helium balloons
featuring beloved characters like Shrek, Hello
Kitty, Smurfette, and more will fl oat through the
sky, bringing joy to all ages.
