2025 MyTERN Symposium

Join us for a transformative evening exploring the intersection of higher education and restorative justice with TUPIT (Tufts University Pr*son Initiative of the Tisch College of Civic Life). The Tufts Education Reentry Network (MyTERN) Symposium brings together students, educators, and community members to reimagine how educational spaces can serve as vehicles for healing, transformation, and social change.

Through four dynamic panel discussions featuring traditional Medford students and formerly incarcerated MyTERN students who are educational innovators, they will unpack the importance of community building through a restorative lens. Together they explore revolutionary approaches to higher education, examine vulnerability as a pathway to healing in academic settings, investigate education's role in liberation, and discover how arts-based initiatives are reshaping communities locally and nationally.
