2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated by Congress as a National Day of Service. The holiday not only honors the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but also encourages all to volunteer to improve their communities. Attend the free celebration event Saturday, January 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, CA. The afternoon will feature an I Have A Dream Media Gallery, Live Entertainment, Special Guests, activities for kids, a Resource Fair, and Opportunity Drawings.

PARTICIPATE in the National Day of Service Commendation!

Contact an organization in Culver City to inquire and sign up for any of their community service opportunities. Organizations can include churches, schools, non-profits, community organizations, service groups, etc. There is no minimum number of community service hours required. Upon completion, please complete the Day of Service Recognition Form. The last day to complete the recognition form is January 3, 2025. Each participant will receive a certificate of recognition at the King Day Celebration!
